Universes may be born inside black holes
According to Nikodem Poplawski of Indiana University, black holes are the cosmic mothers of new universes. His idea is the natural consequence of a new assumption about the nature of spacetime that takes into account particle spin. If he’s correct, then our universe may be the interior of a black hole existing inside another universe (which could account for the darkness of space).
Interestingly, the torsion and its associated repulsive force generated by particle spin may be the answer to the massive inflation required by the big bang theory. Although the force associated with each particle’s spin is tiny, when matter density is high it becomes a significant force.
